oproepje

Bij gebrek aan telefoonnummers en emailadressen gebruik ik mijn blog even om een oproepje te doen aan mijn oud Bartimeushage collega's. Ik zou het heel leuk vinden jullie nog te zien voor ik ga [jullie= Miranda, Pim, Ciska, Eljo, Wanda en Elle , al heb ik jullie twee al gezien].
Ik heb aanstaande dinsdag en woensdagavond en volgende week maandag nog vrij. Bel mij even op 06-20373707. Ik hoop dat het gaat lukken!

We finaly made it to Amsterdam to catch up with Elle, Frank and Kaio after battling this stupid dutch virus. We are still trying to get over it but feeling better since yesterday. Can't believe we both got sick, as we really don't have time for that kind of stuff. Yesterday was a true summers day, lovely to be out and about. Anouk is doing ok, she is enjoying all the attention. She is not the good sleeper she is at home. Waking up a couple of times during the night, wanting a feed each time. Feels like I'm travelling with a new born baby!
Today is shopping day......Amsterdam, here we come!

Jet lag............

...........It is getting better but the last couple of nights have not been fun! Anouk is experiencing serious jet lag, and because she is, I am too. The flight itself went really well. During the first leg from Sydney to KL we had the front row almost to ourselves, which was great. The second leg from KL to Amsterdam we were sitting next to some lovely Dutch people, which was even better. They were all very helpfull and more than happy to hold Anouk for me whenever I needed to go to the toilet.

So far we have been catching up with family and friends, trying to get in some kind of a routine, battling a bit of a cold, enjoying my dad's cooking [hollandse pot] and the fact that it hasn't been raining since we arrived!

first stop; Natascha picked us up from the airport as my dad had to go to hospital for a check up. We stayed with her in Leusden untill my parents picked us up on their way home.

Beste Nederlandse mensen. Sjon hier. Detje en Anouk zijn veilig onderweg. Zomaar en paar fotos ik had bij de luchthaven genonem. Volgs mij zitten ze op dit moment ergens boven Kuala Lumpur in Malasia. Dikke kus vanuit Sydney.
